Grizzly Bear

As part of the Animal Series, species who are threatened or endangered are chosen as symbols for awareness. The Grizzly Bear, after almost disappearing from the American landscape, has made a miraculous recovery over the past several decades and is once again a steady presence. However, several other bear species are struggling to survive. Out of all eight bear species, there are six at risk: three threatened and three endangered. Grizzly Bears can be used as a symbol of hope and awareness for their relatives. Help place a spotlight on bears, as they need our help.
